This is a review for Shoplet's $90 +/- vertical 2 drawer filing cabinet on wheels. Some reviews in this section talk about a $500 filing cabinet, which this is not! This is a great $90 cabinet made of light materials and does the job of holding my hanging files for my small home office. It is not a large heavy duty filing cabinet! I didn't want to spend more money for a heavy duty cabinet for home. I no longer keep things for decades - instead I throw out 80% of what is in there every year as it is replaced with new insurance policies, Vehicle registrations, Health info, etc... . As stated it is light, easy to put together (2 handles & 4 wheels with screws - you will need a philips screw driver). It looks nice in my grey desk and cabinet "Office" & my HP Officejet printer sits on top! Shoplet the Seller was great delivering to our front door, even though it took them 2 extra days beyond what they originally quoted. But Amazon Customer Service Sucked because they stated in my Account that it was delivered on the original date. Then they were informed by Shoplet (the "Seller") Amazon still would not change my account to state delivery was pending. Even after I called them, Amazon would not correct the order information! Amazon Customer Service has deteriorated over the last several years. Any type of human error is called a technical glitch and then they hang up on you.

All I wanted was a small cabinet to fit under the desk my computer sits on. This is not thick but it does the job and did not cost too much.

Product arrived before the delivery date. Filing cabinet is sturdy, light and built well. The only complaint I have is that it did not come with screws to hold the drawer handles in place. Otherwise I would have gave it five stars.

This item is nothing as described. It is flimsy and no tracks to hang files on. It's just an empty light weight cheap metal cabinet that I paid over $500 for! Appalled at this item.

5 stars because of the value. It's not built like a $300 file cabinet, but for the price you can't beat it.Pros:Wheels.Small form factor even with the wheels. (I got it specifically to fit under a table that's 27.5" high.)Price.Arrived in perfect conditions with easy-to-follow instructions.Cons:Thin metal, which means it wouldn't be hard to break into. It's more designed to keep out a snooping office mate rather than a thief. I'm pretty sure I could rip it open if I wanted to. But again, if you wanted something that's that secure, buy an actual safe not a file cabinet.Not a big issue, but you have to kinda wave the folders back and forth as you're putting them into the drawers because the indentations that the drawers glide on leave very little space between the folder and the indentation. Again, not much of an issue once you figure it out.It has a tendency to tip if you have both drawers out. Since mine is going under a table I just set a couple extra 10-pound plates on top of it since they don't show anyway and it doesn't tip at all.

I needed a filing cabinet for all my personal files and I didn't want to break the bank. This perfectly fit my needs. Metal, locks, two-cabinet, and relatively inexpensive. This cabinet is just for me and it holds so much that I still have more than half of each drawer empty! The metal is not very thick. It is actually quite thin. Also, the lock is not too strong. If I try to pull the drawer while it is locked, about an inch or so will pull out. So, it can easily be broken into or tampered with. This is just a basic filing cabinet for mild security needs. If you feel that you need real security then I strongly encourage spending a pretty penny to make sure you are taken care of. It does what it needs to do for the price. As far as I'm concerned, it is worth the money. Again, if you need something to really secure your information or whatnot then look elsewhere.

My little basket stuffed with envelopes that served as my filing system for many years had become an overflowing, disorganized, headache and eyesore. I decided it was finally time to upgrade to an actual file cabinet and was hoping for something around $50, but was willing to pay a little more for quality. I liked the look of this one, that it holds hanging folders, that it has wheels... and I really liked the price. It arrived in perfect condition, without any scratches, dings, or dents, and no parts missing. The little bit of assembly to put on the handles and wheels took me maybe 15 minutes. So easy, I barely looked at the instructions, and that was only for the rear wheels. The way the rear wheels attatch is kinda odd, but it only took a minute to figure out. (Make sure to use the right size phillips screwdriver so you don't strip the screws.) Everything attached solidly with no looseness. It's not heavy-duty, and probably wouldn't survive being tossed out of a second-story window, but for my basic household needs, it is sturdy enough. The wheels are plastic and would be the weak point with any rough handling. Also, they might need a shot of WD-40 to roll smoothly. The lock is enough to thwart snooping, but anyone with a serious agenda could easily break in. Not an issue for me, as I don't intend on using the lock. The file cabinet looks very nice, and my paperwork is finally neat, organized, and easily accessible. Hurray!(Mine came from Office Supply)
