I read other reviews that said this thing doesn't even fit Loon's own products. I thought Loon couldn't be that stupid so I bought it, anyway. Sure enough, it doesn't even fit with Loons products. Even the reviews for this product on the Loon web site are horrible. Tried to put Loon Lochsa in the bottom. But the neck on the Lochsa bottle was too big for the hole in the Caddy. And since the hole in the Caddy is "melted" through the nylon, you can't stretch it to fit over the neck of the Lochsa bottle. Then I tried to put Loon Top Ride in the top. It fits, but there is nothing to keep the bottle from working its way down and falling out of the Caddy. The Medium size Loon Caddy is enclosed on the bottom to prevent the bottle from falling out, but not so with this large size Caddy. This product is poorly conceived and I do not recommend it.

Love the idea of it, with the Shake Stuff facing upward and the gel facing down. However, Loon's own aquel does not fit and stay in the bottom loop and does not stay in the holder. I would be less upset if it were Gink or something but when your own goo does not fit in your goo-holder, that is shameful!

Its proprietary, so only certain fly treatment bottles fit. Thats disappointing as not all products are quite the same. Not all Loon products cover all needs all the time. Had to modify it to take some popular products.

I used to have my desiccant powder in a pocket on my vest. Drying flies out would always risk dropping it. With this, everything for dries, floatant and dessicant, is in one place on a retriever. Super convenient.

This is a great little caddy. I know orvis makes one as well for their desiccant powder and gel. I got this one because I use Loon's Top Ride Desicant powder floatant which I knew would fit this caddy. I know that any silicone gel floatant will will fit in the bottom. You simply remove the lid, slide it through the hole and screw the lid back on. This is great for dry fly fishing, especially when you keep catching fish and need to clean, dry and reapply floatant between fish or casts. It is worth it to have more time fishing than finding your floatant in your vest or pack pockets.My only complaint is that the plastic clip that comes with it does not attach easily to webbing loops or Attachment points on your vest/pack. I wound up cutting it off, tying a carabiner onto it. Now works great. And I can quickly remove it and store it when not fishing dry flies
