These gutter guards exceeded expectations. The mesh screens are heavy duty, per se, more than adequate to keep debris out of the gutters. They are stiff enough to maintain shape in placing them under shingles but still allow for some pliability in shaping the ends.My roof gable is a good 45 degrees and slopes down to the outside of the gutters. I was able to slide in the screens under the shingles and easily lock them into place, both with each other and onto the gutter edge. Overall, I'm very happy with these and know future 'gutter cleanings' will be minimal.

I have used those gutter guards that come in a big roll and you tuck them under the shingles. They just don't last and if one end comes loose (even though you screwed it down) you end up with a huge slinky type mess. These gutter guards are rigid and each three foot panel will be screwed down with galvanized sheet metal screws. I like that they fit most any size gutter and just slide into place. The mesh is open so water gets through easily but dust becomes dirt and asphalt shingles have particles wash off but just a touch with a garden hose will wash all that away.I have not installed these yet as I am over 70 and haven't found a younger person to install these yet. But I can see how easily they install so am looking forward to leaf free gutters for next fall! And with 120 feet of gutter for only a hundred bucks or so I will have plenty with some left over for any needed repairs.

As for as Quality and durability these gutter guards are a 5 star but they are too difficult to remove when I need to clean my gutters. My gutters on the house I live at are only 4" K style gutters that are old. I cut these gutter guards to fit with some tin snips. These guards have some durable coating that protects from rust. The hole opening keeps leaves and larger debris out but mud, moss, and shingle sediment still enter so you will need to still clean your gutters. These guards get wedged underneath your shingles and they are very difficult to remove once installed. I clean my gutters about 4 times a year so these didn't really work for me. I went back to my gutter guards with the clips. They don't have a clean look like these guards but they make it easier to clean the gutters.

The price on this isn't amazing, but it's not bad either. Functionally, these should work just as well as any other gutter leaf guards of similar design, which is to say they should generally do a good job, but you have to still get up there every now and then to clean them off depending on what kind of debris tends to fall on your roof. We have tons of trees that drop little sticks and they do tend to get hung up on these. It's still MUCH better than the gutters themselves filling up with sticks and leaves, so even with parts of these clogged up you generally still get good runoff through clear gutters. They are easy to install too, so you really can't go wrong with these if you are looking to save yourself from making a trip in to your local big box store. Solid product!

I still didn't install it, but it looks like a good quality product.

I have the same design gutter guard (not sure, the same brand) already installed on the 1st story gutter sections. Overall total gutter length for the 2nd story gutters for my two-story single-family house is a little short of 120’, and this will fully cover the job. The product is light, but solid enough with quality coating, and I don’t expect any issue with the installation that is due pending on the weather condition. From my previous experience, this type can get some small branches stuck on the mesh holes causing some pile up at the corner section. The mesh, however, won’t let the debris through so it shouldn’t be a huge issue. This will do the job more than enough, and I recommend it.
