When shooting photos or filming indoors, typically there’s an existing light source. However, due to lack of directional lighting, less than desirable photos are produced. Here is where AM153 kit comes in handy to help with directing light. AM153 can provide 3 point lighting effects, by setting lights in different positions, you can produce an increased three dimensional effect for your subject.
For Portraiture photography, AM153 can provide partial exposure light effect, this effect also can be adjusted based on the shooting subject (person) and distance of the light kit. A shorter distance will provide a smaller lighting area but brighter luminance. Inversely, longer distances can provide a larger lighting area but dimmer luminance.
For small subject or tabletop photography, AM153 can provide full lighting exposure.
LINCOInc uses professional photographic light bulbs with a color temperature of 5500k. Providing natural lighting exposure so that the photo and/or film will not have a yellowish or blue tint effect.

When I first opened the box to set up 2 of the lights one bulb did not work. I just went to set up 3rd light and a part is missing. Quality is not what I had hoped.

I have a photo cube that was just not doing my products justice. So, I was excited to find this kit. After reading the other reviews, I decided to give it a try. I don't get much natural light in the area where my indoors studio is setup, so I definitely needed a lighting kit. The CFL bulbs that come with the kit do not provide the level of brightness necessary, but that was an easy fix by swapping out the bulbs. Having 3 lights, I would have liked to have had a 3rd umbrella...maybe a bounce umbrella. I had to purchase that separately from another vendor. But I still think this kit is worthy of 5 stars.

Perfect of my at home makeshift studio! Bright enough and pics come out great. I use it for photographing clothing for resale and was having issues with light in my office. This did the trick. Love that it's lightweight compact and easily collapsible. Super easy to set up as well!

This lighting set worked great for an amateur photo shoot we did in our office. It will work well for a fun one at a wedding this summer too. Not real heavy duty (otherwise the cost would be considerably higher) but everything was stable, the locks held the poles to the set height securely, etc.. Great performer, we would buy again when/if needed.

I wasn't a huge fan of these lights. Felt like they were underpowered and dull. Set-up was easy. Wish the cords were longer.
