I had a bulb fixture in the ceiling of my shed and wanted to replace it with a 4 ft. LED light. This is the only outlet cover that fits over the round light box.Makes the job a lot easier than crawling up in the rafters to swap out the electrical box.

Needed to remove fluorescent light fixtures and replace with 110 Volt duplex receptacle. The receptacle needed to fit into a round electrical ceiling box with an adjustable hanger bar. Normal duplex receptacle did not fit into the ceiling box and would not allow a face plate to be mounted. I was able to use the Leviton 5042 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Duplex Receptacle On 4-Inch Cover to mount the receptacle because it was already attached to the face plate. Couple wall anchors and we are up and running. Good product

This receptacle is not as sturdy as others that I have seen and used, but it is adequate and the price was right.

If only they made this more aesthetically pleasing but other than that it works and covers up the circular gap nicely. It looks more suited for a work or garage environment. For future modification, I can take out the brown receptacle outlet and replace it with a white one and paint the metal flange white. This was the cheapest I could find so I can't complain about that.
