These gaiters are good quality and easy to put on and take off. They are great for keeping water out when crossing short streams and hiking through wet grass and brush after heavy rain. They are perfect to keep in a pack and put on quickly when needed, but are also comfortable enough if you need to wear them for a longer period of time.

I bought these for use in rainy weather. They keep my feet completely dry. There were a few times when I stepped into water that went over my ankles, but not a drop got into my boots. They also prevent mud from getting on my pants. I really like them. Additionally, after stepping through deep water and staying dry, I think they would work well in the snow too.
