It's a very poor product. You can see one letter or number on a coin and then it's blurry all around it.

Great idea and if the innards allowed you to easily insert the batteries it would be fine. I bought two and the one accepted the batteries, but the second one fell apart as I was trying to insert the batteries. What a waste of money and effort. Just a little more effort in the manufacturing and it would be a good thing.

I use for my cartridge/stylus for my turntable. It works great! You’ll be surprised and shocked when using this to magnify and light up the debris and junk on your stylus. And feel very satisfied when you use this to see a truly clean cartridge after a cleaning. If you play a lot of records, you need one.For me it is now essential.Highly recommended.

I have three magnifiers, a 20x, 30x, and this one. The other two do not have a built in light which is helpful sine you have to get close to what you are looking at and probably blocking the light. This magnifier is really easy to look through compared to the other two, but there is no way it's 40x. Even though it's not 40x I would still recommend it.

Durable! Thick lens that is easy to take out and clean. Great lighting. Large view. Not hard to focus at all. Powerful. Two double A batteries fit in a beautifully designed compartment. Light stays bright forever! Had great ergonomics, feel. Very well suited for viewing trichomes.

I use this when I clean the stylus on my turntable's cartridge. Easily allows me to see if the stylus is dirty and if I've cleaned it completely. I had one for about 6 years and it stopped working but it's inexpensive so I get another. Recommended.

Right away, got it today, out to garden after loading in batteries. Not at all sure if this would do it, but sure enough this little handheld magnifier with light did the trick. Yes! The trichome "dust" on leaves, under the magnifier turned into little "mushroom" caps and stems. Not huge, but more than adequate for checking status of trichome coloring as harvesting time is still some weeks away. Now, thanks to this handy little magnifier, I can check status daily. The handheld usual household magnifying lens was inadequate to revealing the trichomes; it showed in a bit of enlargement, what the naked eye saw. This device was a definite step way up.Not that I would know the advantage/disadvantage of a higher magnification, but this does the job. Would a higher magnification have focusing and holding issues? This device showed enough. Not just a few trichomes, but a field of them with discernible heads. More than satisfied monitoring needs. After reading online descriptions of color changes from clear to milky to amber and all that goes with these color changes, I can now monitor progress. Three different (btw, they are legal for home gardeners where I live) hybrids with various characteristics and possibly different color signals for harvesting. All this suggests that magnified views are essential. Especially so for beginners like me.The LEDs surprising enhance the viewing, even in daylight. The carrying case is nice. I plan to keep the device next to other garden devices used to detect optimum harvesting time (grapes, specifically). And when in the field it is small enough to not be cumbersome in the pocket.Photos shown were taken by putting a camera lens to the magnifier's lens. I could have been a bit closer to more clearly show trichome heads, but holding camera, plant, and magnifier was enough.Good design, very fast delivery, and a delighted customer/user. Bravo! to all.

This is the best lighted magnifier I’ve ever used, I use it for vintage jewelry, meaning marks and checking for missing stones or damage. This is my second one, my last one was dropped but lasted over a year, I couldn’t wait for my one, I really missed it because I use it everyday!
