These work great to provide a bright indicator for just about anything, with just about any AC or DC voltage from 5-24. A standard 7/8" hole saw makes for a snug fit.The ones I installed 5+ years ago are still going strong.

They feel a little chintzy, but overall are nice and bright. The screw terminals are accessed from the bottom, and would allow the use of ferrules. I let one run continuously for over an hour at the full 24VDC, and it only warmed up a tiny amount. Certainly decent value for money. I am using these to build a PLC trainer.

I ordered the indicator lamps that had two each of five different colors but instead received ten blue lamps. Although they will work they are not what I wanted.
