To sterilize these before use I did what I always do with piercing jewelry: put some rubbing alcohol into the baggies and leave the baggies open so it can evaporate. Not sure why it happened but I think these aren’t strong enough to be soaked in rubbing alcohol. Either that or some of these piercing retainers were already melted together.I was able to use a few of these, so it wasn’t a total loss. They were a little bendy when installing, but that could have been my doing with the alcohol pre-soak. I’d prefer the plastic were a bit stiffer but again I don’t know if they came that soft or if I did it to them myself. If they had been sturdy enough I would consider them better value for the price in my opinion.
