Using this for a custom stainless steel smoker build. Was going for 100% stainless steel parts including all of the hardware. Mechanucally, this is working perfectly. After only two days outside, it started rusting. The ''Highlights in the description says "Inner material Stainless steel" Just beware it is not 304, 316, or 18/8 stainless. It is mild steel as stated just below the other description. I will be cleaning it and painting with high temp paint and see how it fairs.

I put this air vent on my offset smoker that is 1/4" thick steel. This vent is good quality being about 3/32 " thick. I bought the 4" model but wish I had got the 6" one which would, of course, allowed more air flow. Go big as you can always adjust the air flow down.

I thought I would end up with a piece of tin but they are not. Had to drill center hole out a little but over all very happy with it

Well made, inexpensive, and just the right size for my smoker fire box . The company was spot on with shipping and their customer service is outstanding. Very easy to install, smooth slide action. My smoker grill is working way better now. I've ordered another for my other smoker grill.
