Die Djembe ist viel kleiner als auf der Website angegeben, sie kommt gerade mal auf 30cm Höhe. Es erinnert eher an ein Spielzeug, als an ein Instrument. Der Klang ist auch furchtbar, wie eine Metallbüchse. Hab sie leider wieder zurück geschickt

Proves to me that a plastic body and synthetic head can sound great. I play it doumbek style across my lap as it is small.

This is an excellent drum. A really well made and high quality product. Plays very nicely with good bass tones and lovely crisp higher notes. Being manufactured by Latin Percussion, a company of long standing with a sterling reputation, I was sure that I wouldn't be disappointed and indeed I am not. Quite the reverse, in fact. Extremely competitively priced, too. I have read a couple of bad reviews for this instrument but I don't know why that should be. I can only surmise that said reviewers were exceptionally unfortunate or perhaps not of sufficient ability to get the best from this marvellous little percussive piece. Very highly recommended.

I have a custom purple Acrylic drum kit so this was a great addition and is a portable easy to carry drum for drum circles. Sound is great and plenty of volume from this drum. Great Djembe

The drum surface torn after a month of light use. There is a plastic underneath it and that's where the sound is from. So it doesn't really affect the sound but this is more like a toy imo.
