Bought this because other reviews mentioned the spring pressure was adequate. Works way better than a cheaper circular type muff that came with my boat. Seals decently against the outdrive, for maximum water intake.

What much can you say about earmuffs for an outboard motor? They work well, and they were inexpensive.

The unit goes on easily. It is very sturdy and heavier (in a good way) than my last one. The only "ehh" about it is that It seals best when I pinch the cups on the water intake. It works well as is and works great when I apply hand pressure, but the whole 'not having to squat down and using my hands' was the reason that I bought it in the first place.

It is quality made. I have a 25HP Johnson 2 stroke. I had to put the flusher in a vice and bend each side inward, then expand the V, so that it would seal to the intakes properly. Once I did that, it works perfect. Not sure why the quick release male fitting is included since I have no idea what female end I would buy, nor would I buy one anyway, but OK!
