This gun cleaning mat is very well made. It’s thick enough, has no odor and allows me to clean my rifle on a counter or kitchen table top without scratching it with the rifle or contaminating the table or counter with cleaning chemicals.

I've only had this a few weeks, but I've been using it as a desk pad/mouse pad. The print quality is fine, all the text is legible and the mat itself is a nice thickness. Unfortunately, the fabric portion appears to have not been bonded to the rubber so well, as it's already starting to peel in one spot.

In my target sports I use several different cleaning mats, of different makes, sizes and thicknesses, but I prefer this one. Here is why I consider this one is the best of them:1) It is thick, protecting the table well: a quarter-inch thick, it protects the table very well against accidental nicks and scratches damage;2) Most other mats get easily soiled in cleaning oil, gun-lubricating materials, oil-based and other. But not this one: its oil-repellant surface makes it very easy to wipe off Gun Oil, CLP and even Molly; its surface is easily washed, so it is always clean and as good as new;3) Unlike other mats that annoy you by rolling up, when you unroll this one out of its plastic container – it falls absolutely FLAT on the table and remains flat.4) You can buy these mats with or without a printed schematic. If I have to use a schematic, I look it up in the owner’s manual or online, anyway, not on the mat with the parts strewn on it.5) Last but not least – this shop provides excellent customer service in my experience with them.This mat is a good value, and it looks like it will last forever.
