Simply DIY a Lamp with the Lamp Shade Light Bulb Clip Adapter
The "springy" holding adapter is an ingenious adapter for lamps without harps.It mounts directly on a light bulb,hold the shade and screw the attached finial in,then lampshade goes on top.It takes less than a minute to hang or replace a new lamp shade.
DIFFERENT SHAPES OF LIGHT BULBS COMPATABLE
Fit Standard Size Bulbs with Different Light Sources
A "standard" round bulb no matter A15 or A19 could be fitted most tightly.ST type(ST58,ST64) edison bulb or C/G type(like C7 G25 G40) light bulb could be fitted also.
Round shaped light bulb is the most recommended to fit caused the silicone levellers could maximize its friction and clasps plastic light bulb tightly. Shade don't move after the installation.
Besides,halogen,incandescent and LED light source bulbs are adaptable.
- Standard round light bulb(like A , G series) could be fitted the best.
- Oval shaped in the top of the light bulb (like edison bulb,C type bulb) could be fiited.
- DOT BE USED for the compact fluorescent bulbs that look like a swirled tube and U tubes.
- Tranditional hot light bulbs(<=200W) have been tested ok for silicone Levelers included.

So, I've used others like this kind, but these are by far the best shade holders that clamp onto light bulbs I've found. I like that the loops have a plastic / rubber sleeve which holds the light bulb securely but not too tightly. So the lampshade doesn't slip or roll around at all. Will be buying again.

These lamp shade holders were perfect! I needed to replace the original lamp shades that came with my lamp and these did the trick. Make sure that you use LED bulbs because they don’t get as hot as regular bulbs, regular bulbs will melt the plastic coating!!

I like that they have a soft covering on the wire to cushion against the bulb. The quality is good and I like the black finish.

We picked up a couple of table lamps from Goodwill that didn't have shades or the armature to hold a shade. This bulb clip/adaptor was perfect for our needs. It went on easily and helped us update the look of the lamp (with a new shade on top. Heads up - If the clip or lamp shade gets accidentally bumped, it will move the clip, and you'll have to adjust and re-center the clip/shade. Otherwise, it couldn't be more perfect.

Easy to install and works great. Kept smelling waxy, electrical smell. Read reviews and that's when I saw that the silicon does melt! Had to use a waxed thread to remove the clip from the bulb. Trying it again with a LED bulb as some suggested.
