Shackles are about 1/4” wide at the leaf spring side but did close up with an impact

The quality of the part seems fine, but this will NOT fit a 1992 jeep Cherokee. The width of the part is wrong for both the upper and lower mount of the rear spring mount. It's too wide to fit I to the frame mount, and too wide for the spring.

I purchased these shackles simply because they cost less than buying a bushing kit for my current shackles. Unfortunately they are in fact shorter than all other "1.5-2" lift shackles on the market so I have decided not to use them at this time. I would call these a 1" shackle and they will work okay for that intended purpose. One shackle has a decent amount of warpage in it from welded so don't expect the bolts to slide through smoothly 🤣.

The adjustment holes are perfect for doing a lift that you are not sure exactly what you will need. I started out with the highest lift hole and ended up going down because the rear was too high, and now it's perfect. Doesn't disturb the ride quality of your current spring. Great product and great price.
