This is way less expensive than replacing the BMW assembly but it does take some skill set and patience

The point on the screw wasn't machined to the same size as OEM. I had to sand the diameter of point so it could fit in the cooper bushing on the parking brake mechanism.Once the point was the proper diameter, it worked and I was able to clear my parking brake error.

I never know how these things go bad or why someone would build something so cheap when it comes to brakes even from a high-end manufacturer I have heard nothing but awesome things about this since the original one was made of plastic and not replaceable
