This item far exceeded my expectations. The overall look and quality was exceptional and it installed in 15 minutes. The original finish Honda used for the timing chain cover was good for a several years, but as my Honda is a 2006 it was now showing a lot of peeling and spots from rocks and debris from the road. This cover appears to be very well finished and looks better than the original when it was new. Glad I found it here on Amazon. (UPDATE 3-14-22) after two years installed the attachment failed. Thankfully it didn't fall off before I noticed it was loose, so I removed the one remaining adhesive/tape so I could rework attachment. I used a dremel with a wire brush to remove all remaining adhesive from the engine cover and the Kuryakyn cover. Then I mixed some JB Weld and applied it to the same locations. I believe this will hold, but the supplied adhesive tape could allow the cover to fall off. Make sure all the Honda paint gets removed at the adhesive locations prior to attachment. I believe this was the cause of my failure.

Looked great for the few days it stayed on. The three tiny pieces of mounting tape didnt last long, even after extensive surface prep. I heard it go clankity clank-clank down the freeway behind me. $90 gone like that...

Very easy to install, replace the o-ring from the old center piece with the new center piece and make sure you grease the new center piece as per the directions. Then you activate the three adhesive spots then aim the new piece over the old piece. After you have this done you must turn on your bike for at least 10 mins for the heat of the motor bonds the adhesive of the timing chain cover. With this new piece installed with the lower cowl, your bike really stands out. FYI - If you'll installing the lower chrome cowl with the chrome timing chain cover I advise you to install the front fender extension to stop the road debris from damaging your new chrome.

Fits well. The chrome look adds a nice touch to the cowl. It was very simple to attach to the timing chain cover.
