Have these for a year. Also had the Salmons. The Salmons are very aggressive versus the triple compound has better modulation. In the wet the Salmons would brake better but overall I think the triple compound is a more versatile pad. I do a lot of fast descents and brake pads are essential. Have also tried Swiss stop, those are expensive and not as consistent at high speed 35-50mph.

Just not quite as good as the Ultegra OEM pads, I have reverted to the OEM's.

They efficiently stop your wheels in wet conditions. Need I say more?

These are my favorite overall pads for road. I have used everything under the sun - Swiss stop (black, blue, green), Shimano, Tektro, OEM this that, and the other. I find that these have a little bit less 'bite' than the Kool Stop dual compound. For that reason, I use these on bikes with Shimano levers and calipers (which tend to be very strong), and I use the dual compound on weaker brake systems. I only go full Salmon in very cold/wet weather. And I never really use the black/dry pad.

Still trying to decide if the dry weather braking is better than the OEM. It definitely does not pick up metal rim fragments as easily as OEM.
