When it says it measures up to 10000 you would figure it measures in feet because it isn't specified in the description

I like this measuring wheel the wheel is big like a bike tire so it will run in any kind of rough ground you want to. This measures in meters and will measure 10,000m or 10Km.

an excellent measuring wheel for a great low price. I thought it would be used, but it seems to be new - never used.
