Kohler has to make it difficult on some things. There is no choice to pick the length you need when you buy the original product and you have to get this as it’s a proprietary part

Somewhat annoyed at Kohler as I had to purchase a additional extender to mount the shower drop elbow to the shower wall, but 5 stars as the wall mount shower system works great.. NOTE: the Kohler elbow drop comes with a threaded extender that will fit only a certain distance from the plumbing elbow in the wall. If the distance is too long or short, a separate extender is needed,,, not cheap..

Carefully measure per Kohler instructions for correct nipple length. This was a perfect fit for me.
