Upon first look at the packaging I thought that it was missing a screw but discovered that it was actually an extra. Essential screws were pre-inserted into the holes.Feels decent quality for the price.

liked the price but after installing two of this and both of them failing, I am learning a lesson about buying cheap door hardware. The installation isn't much of a problem , pretty standard, but two things happened with this on. The first is , the way the handle is positioned when you open or close the door, your hand will push the lock mechanism up and you'll unintentionally lock the door behind you. But the worst feature is that after installing the same brand (the second one is a replacement) after a few uses the internal piece the rotates to pull the catch back bends because the metal is so weak and then you're stuck with a door that doesn't open. I had to take the door off the hinges to remove it and take it apart. Now its happened again and I haven't even sent the first one back to Amazon. I'm just going to eat my losses on this one but I will not be ordering cheap hardware off Amazon again.

Nice knob, but the fingers on the latch keep bending up so the door doesn't open unless you lift the handle up. Tried bending them back down but only lasted a few times.Updated. The seller replaced the defective product no questions asked and new knob works great.

I returned this item because the workmanship was quite crude in places...obviously hand-done, and not done very well.
