Very cushiony, so nice to stand on! I love the tapered edges so I don't trip on the edge of it. It's very large, so it covers the entire area in front of my kitchen sink, and then some. It's very solid and so far isn't showing any wear or tear or losing pieces. It's super easy to keep clean, easy to sweep off and wash off. The price is a little much in my opinion, but it is specifically a kitchen aid brand, so that's probably why.I was looking forward to the forest green color, but I have to say this is very close to black and not much on the green side.

LIKES: perfect for standing long periods of time, looks classy (dark grey color), great quality. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I am using this at my standing desk in my office but it will work just as good in front of a sink or stove. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. From the day I put this mat down, I can already tell a difference in how my feet and knees feel after working at my desk. The mat is solid and of good quality material and while raised up due to the cushioning, its tapered edge is very easy to avoid tripping on.

I needed to replace my previous kitchen mat, and came across this one. I have been very impressed with it so far. I really like the length of it, the texture is very satisfying to stand on, and the gel is thick enough that it is way more comfortable to stand on. Cleaning is a breeze, with an easy wipe down or running a vacuum over it. I did come from a smooth mat, so it takes a little getting used to with the texture/ribbing, but I've come to like it quite a bit. It as far grippier than my last mat, and doesn't slide along the vinyl over the course of the week.Across the board it does exactly what it is supposed to and it very aesthetically pleasing. I will say that it is a bit on the expensive side, but you will be very happy with the product.

This floor mat is much bigger than I was expecting it to be, but I appreciate the extra floor coverage. Our kitchen floor has absolutely no padding and is painful for these old bones when I have to stand on it for prolonged periods of time. I put this mat by the sink and it feels so nice and takes the pain away. It's also able to be cleaned easily and anything on it can just be swept off when we sweep the kitchen. It looks really sharp and quality made, too! I'm very impressed!

I never knew how much I needed a comfort gel mat in my kitchen until I got this one! Standing for long periods while cooking or washing dishes used to leave my feet and back sore, but this mat has completely changed that. The cushioning is incredible—it feels like I’m standing on a soft cloud, providing the perfect amount of support and comfort.Beyond the comfort, I love the simple design! The simple black color may be basic, but it’s anything but boring. It has a sleek, modern look that adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen, effortlessly elevating the overall aesthetic. Whether your kitchen style is modern, rustic, or somewhere in between, this mat blends in beautifully while still making a statement. It’s also super easy to clean—just a quick wipe, and it looks as good as new. If you spend a lot of time in the kitchen, this is a must-have.

Love the mat, not only makes it more comfortable to stand on it, it also dampens sound from the subfloor and enhances the asthetics of the kitchen.I got the charcoal and is pretty dark, almost just black so that is to consider if you get this color.Seems to be of high quality and coming from a well known brand hopefully it will last years, I will update review if it wears down prematurely.

There are a lot of cushioned kitchen mats out there, but I think the Kitchen Aid mat is definitely a serious option. I currently have a mat that I got from a big-box membership club so I will highlight what I see as the differences that make me think the Kitchen Aid mat is worth the extra $$. The main upside I notice is the the cushion seems a little more dense. While it makes it less "kooshy" I find that it provides a lot more stability. My big-box mat my foot sinks in a little and it doesn't feel the most stable. You're still standing on a soft surface, it just doesn't allow you to sink into the mat. The next thing I notice is that the KitchenAid mat does a much better job at staying put. My dogs tear through the kitchen and I'm always having to move my big-box mat back into place. The KitchenAid mat doesn't travel anywhere near as much (it, of course, shifts a wee amount). The texture and look of the mat is nice and still easy to clean. The only con I have is that I wish it were a little bigger, but everyone's kitchen needs are different.

This kitchen mat is the best I have ever used. It is thick, soft, and not too bouncy. It feels like a very thick memory foam, but at the same time it doesn’t have too much give. It feels very comfortable under my feet. I put mine in front of my stove/oven and I love how it gives me support and an extra height boost at the same time. The only setback I found is the angled slope all the way around. It’s not really a setback, but it did take a little bit of getting used to. Actually the incline is necessary to help avoid tripping on the mat since it’s so thick. If it were flat throughout, then it’s very easy to miss and will make you trip eventually. The backing definitely keeps it in place. I don’t have to constantly reposition it like my other mats. The color goes well with my kitchen decor too, I chose a darker tone to hide stains and such. It’s also very easy to clean - just wipe and you’re done. Use mild soap for bigger spills. It is on the expensive side, but for the quality I think it’s worth it. I highly recommend this excellent product from an excellent brand.
