This striped anti-fatigue kitchen mat has made standing while cooking much more comfortable. The cushioning really helps relieve pressure on my feet and lower back, making long meal prep sessions way easier. No one who does a lot of standing in place should be without one of these mats. They really do help reduce pressure on muscles and joints and improve circulation. These aren't super thick or cushy but you can tell the difference standing on them. The two mat set is perfect for one in the kitchen and the smaller one for use with a standing desk. I like the neutral khaki color. I would prefer a solid color to stripes but I still think it looks nice in my kitchen.

These are nice mats. The package comes with two different size mats. One is perfect for in front of the stove, and the other in front of the island work area. We have tile floors and entertain large groups frequently so standing for a long time preparing meals can get fatiguing. These cushioned mats help make the floor more comfortable. The colors are nice and fit with our kitchen and floors.

The Sungea Auntie Cushioned Kitchen Floor Mats fit perfectly in my kitchen space. I apologize for the photo - I could not get the lovely gradient greens off the mattress to show but I promise you that the color is true to the merchant's photo. I like these mats in the morning when I make coffee as they help my feet gradually accustome to the upright position, but I LOVE them in the evening as I have been off and on my feet all day and these mats soothe my feet. They wipe clean of any spills and look as though they will last for quite a while. Highly recommended

I got this mat because I get sharp pains in my back when I work in the kitchen for a long time. I have a 7' long rug in front of my prep area, and I put both mats under the rug side-by-side, and it has helped my back fatigue. I am sure they would be fine without the rug over them, since that is how they are intended to be used. The pattern is attractive, and I like that should I use them without the rug, they don't absorb spills.

My husband has been hounding me to get an anti-fatigue mat for the kitchen for some time. They have them where he works in front of the milling machines and lathes where the workers stand all day. Each time I complained about my back hurting when I did dishes, he would remind me about these mats.I finally broke down and ordered this set in black and white. I put them down as soon as we got them. I used the longer one in front of the sink, and the shorter one in front of the stove. I stepped on them a few times while cooking or rinsing something in the sink. It was strange to step on them. They aren't squishy, like I expected, but they have more "give" somehow than just standing on the floor.Finally, last night, we had company and it forced me to spend a good deal of time standing in front of the kitchen sink doing dishes. I did not even realize the difference the mat made until I had finished all the dishes, pot and pans in one go without taking a break or even bending over to try to stretch my back. I still don't really understand why there is such a difference, but it does work. I'm not crazy about the pattern and I'm wondering if the effectiveness will be reduced if I put a more decorative rug ON TOP of the mat? I'm not sure if I'll do that or not though because the mats are so easy to clean as is!

While these are pretty and nice sizes, they’re too thin to be helpful. I’ve had anti-fatigue mats through the years so I know how they generally feel. I couldn’t tell I was walking on them unless I stepped on the edge of the mat. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend these.

This item comes as two mats, each about 17 inches wide, with one about four feet long and the other about two and a half feet long. They are roughly a half inch thick, and that's enough memory foam to make them very comfortable to stand on for long periods. We have the longer one in front of the kitchen sink work area, and the shorter one in my workshop, and both make it much more comfortable when standing while working. Interestingly, they seem to give the most comfort when you are barefoot or just wearing socks, because without shoes you can really feel the memory foam conform to the contours of your feet and provide full support. But even when wearing shoes your legs and back stay comfortable much longer than when standing on a hard floor or even carpet. The surface of these mats is easy to clean and seems to resist staining, at least so far. However, the non skid backing does tend to let them move a bit on a hard floor; I didn't find this to be a big deal, but if it bothers you the issue is easily fixed with some silicone non-slip rug padding. All in all, this product does what it promises, and at a reasonable price, which makes it a good value. So if you do much standing at the kitchen sink or the work bench, be kind to yourself and give these mats a try.
