I just used mine and I love it. It was so easy to use and I love the 8 quart capacity. I love the keep warm function on this one as well. I highly recommend this multi use pot. It's well worth the money.

Omg this product us amazing! We have used it for making menudo and tamales! It has taken the time and literally cut it in over half the time to cook!! It's easy to clean and fits perfectly on my counter. I will buy another one if mine ever breaks. I would like too see more accessories available for this unit. But it works amazing!! Love it!!!!!

Not real clear on how to use. Seemed to take as long as crackpot. Just not impressed with it.

I waited a long time to get one of these pressure cookers after they were a fad and most people already owned one. This is not the first one I bought, however. My first one was a Hamilton Beach and it was a great machine until one day the electronic panel on the front went on the fritz and started flashing and it just stopped cooking! This product replaces that Hamilton Beach product so that’s the only other pressure cooker I can compare this to.This cooker is very much like my old one in almost every way mechanically. The lid goes on the same way with a twist and a lock. The pressure valve is identical in that you have to make sure to close the valve before cooking and safely open the valve after cooking to let the pressure out. The lid fits vertically inside the tiny handle on the sides which saves space if you have a small cooking area like I do; very nice. The inside 8 quart pot is also teflon coated and non-stick which is so nice because it makes cleanup as easy as spraying some hot water from the faucet and giving a quick rinse with a soapy sponge. There’s much to like with this device. There are really only two things I can think of that I dislike. As cool as the digital front panel looks I don’t care for the main knob that selects the cook mode. If you look closely at the “buttons” for each cook setting, you find out when you go to use the cooker that they’re not buttons at all. You select the cook mode by turning the knob. The only issue with that is the knob is sort of loose so it’s very easy to go spinning past the cook setting you want and then have to scroll back. Making that issue even more frustrating is the fact that the blue digital screen doesn’t refresh fast enough to keep up with the loose dial. So if you turn the dial to select a cook mode quickly the dial goes too fast and the screen doesn’t read out fast enough. I know this isn’t a huge issue but it makes selecting your cook mode quite annoying. Especially when they could have just made each mode an actual physical button to be depressed and selected. The other issue I’ve come across when using this is the saute mode. In my last pressure cooker the saute mode fired up fast and hot! You could put a chunk of meat in there and almost in no time flat start to hear the sizzle of the fat starting to cook and sear. This saute mode is nothing like that. I put some beef in the pot and turned saute mode on and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more. I took the meat out to lower my hand close to the bottom of the pot to see if I could feel some heat and while I could feel the heat, it in no way was hot. It simply wasn’t getting hot enough to brown the meat! In fact, I got so tired of waiting on the machine to get hot (probably 10 minutes or so) that I grabbed my Dutch oven and put it on my electric stove on high and the meat started browning in under 2 minutes. This is very frustrating as it now means you lose that one-pot-cooking type of feature. I have since used this pressure cooker for about two months and I can attest that this annoying but persists; it wasn’t a one time failure but systemic. It just doesn’t get hot enough. What a shame.I can’t speak to all the numerous mode from soup to yogurt as I really only use saute (or wish I could) and high pressure cook. I have a few pressure cook books and those books all tell you how to cook in terms of high pressure or low, the length of time under pressure, and the amount of time spent under a cooldown mode. None of the recipes say “press the yogurt button and walk away”. I don’t know if those settings work well or not because I simply don’t use them. I can say that this machine does do pressure cooking quite well so it does shine where it needs to the most. I’ve used this machine to cook pork for pulled pork tacos, beef loin for stews and other meals, to rice. Every time thus far it has perfectly cooked my food and left me with perfectly cooked rice or fall-off-the-bone pork and shred-with-a-fork beef.Only one small other note comes to mind when giving you a description of this pressure cooker. The plug is a three prong plug with a grounding plug (the small round prong below the two slim main prongs). Although this is a good safety feature to have in any appliance I live in a 60+ year old house and my kitchen outlets are not wired for grounding so I have to have those little cheater plugs that bypass the ground plug. Not a deal breaker but one to note if you order this and don’t have three prong outlets like I do, you’ll need an adapter to use this. All told this is a fine pressure cooker except for the lack of a functioning saute mode. Maybe the saute mode is just bad in the particular model that was sent to me. Maybe it will work for you. I can say that if you’re looking to buy a decent 8 quart pressure cooker (don’t go small, always get the bigger one!) and are willing to shell out about $150 on one, you might want to go with a more trusted name brand than this.I hope this review was helpful to you in making a decision on this machine. Cheers!****************************************UPDATE:I’ve used this for a few months now and I can say that the issues with the sauté mode are not a problem any longer. Maybe it just needed a few sauté cycles? It works perfectly now and browns up meat and boils liquids quickly now. The screen gripes and gripes with the knob still exist, but it’s nothing that can’t be ignored.

I opened this up thinking this would be good for the holidays. It is but it’s huge lol. A true commercial cooker. I think this will last a lifetime because you can tell it’s built for commercial use and I’m definitely not going to be cooking 60 cups of rice multiple times a day lol. Might be a bit of overkill for my family but should get good use out of it on the holidays. It is extremely easy to use and the rice comes out proper. It’s a great appliance. I definitely recommend if you have a big family.
