This little tennis racket is an impressive quality for this price. Has a cool pattern with unusual colors which are noticeable on a tennis court. We ordered size 17 and it appeared to be too small for my 7 years old daughter. It might work to learn to hold the racket but a bit uncomfortable to catch a ball. It is very lightweight and comfortable to hold, the handle has a rubber non slip lining. So, if you're planning to play I would suggest a bigger size. Recommended.

I got these tennis racket, for a dress up party. We were tennis players and we needed all the props! Even though now it was used only for props, I will certainly be using it to give my daughter tennis lessons! The racquets are made from a sturdy material, and it has a great big playing area for the ball to be hit on! I would surely recommend this to anyone who wants to play tennis! Perfect for young children

A nice little practice racket kind of my first racket sort of thing it's a bit short 19 inches, but again for a smaller child that would be totally fine but around 12...13 definitely need something with a longer handle. Though it does seem to be of a good quality I don't know a whole lot about tennis but my daughter just started Middle School tennis and I grabbed this as kind of a last minute I need something right now so that I can practice with her sort of thing and it did work out for a grown man. Obviously very easy to use it's nearly weightless and the color is actually very pleasant I was a fan of it and it I believe, is a good unisex color can easily go in the hand of a boy or a girl or non-binary. And then finally I'll say the strings are nice and strong I haven't gotten the most use out of it but I have got a decent amount and I have whacked some tennis balls.. using it more like a baseball bat LOL just as hard as I could and I'm 6'5 I'm fairly strong as well and all of the strings are still right where they started they don't seem to be weakening or getting looser so who knows how long that'll last but as of now it's holding up strong. I'd say the only con is how short the handle is but I'm pretty sure they've got multiple options at the time this was what was available to me but I believe under different circumstances you can get longer / different sizes from pickle tech and again for a much younger child it would be perfect.

This is our second racket from this brand and we are very excited for it! My 12 year old is looking into tennis next year and his 10 year old sister offered to play with him this summer to help him out so we got this racket for her. The colors are adorable, the build is strong and sturdy like the first one we got and I think it is a great starter racket.

I ordered this kids racket in the 19" size. It seems functional as a little kid's starter racket. The hitting area on the 19" size is significantly larger than the 17" size. The racket itself is quite light at just 5.7oz. It does come with an edge guard that you can barely see in the product photos. The colorway does lend itself to be more girl friendly since half of it is a shade of light pink and the rest is light green. The grip is on the short end of the scale and I'd likely use some extra overgrip build up just above it to increase the usable grip area and then cover the whole grip with an overgrip. The factory grip has pretty poor grip and a fresh overgrip was necessary to make it reasonable to hold on to. But overall this is still a decent starter racket.

I actually used this tennis racket as an art installation for an end of the tennis season banquet. It was very durable, sturdy and seemed very well-made. It would be a great starter racket for a child if you don’t wanna spend a lot of money and test the waters to see if your kid likes the sport. It has a really cute design and it’s very lightweight.
