This is the least functional water ski flag I’ve ever bought. The assembly was simple but the quality and durability are questionable. I’m predicting it’s going to rust eventually and be thrown away

We boat all summer and wanted this for when the kids fall of the tube (they don't ski yet). Our state doesn't require it but I think it's a great idea!Pros: Retractable and tight enough to hold whatever length you want, bright orange allows great visibility (I've definitely noticed when others use them), extra flag and ties, storage bag.Cons: If you use the bottom tie you can't retract so we didn't use it. Wish bag was a bit bigger- not quite long enough even when retracted.

Has a sturdy telescopic shaft with comfortable handle. Quality seems good. I like the storage bag and the extra orange flag. Prob will last for a long time.

This is a nice flag to help add an extra degree of safety to an activity that has inherent risks.The telescoping pole is good for stowing but has some weakness due to the telescoping nature of it. With a good chop of the water, likely bouncing passenger holding the flag, and high winds, the pole will have some work to do. I hope it is up to the task.I wish I got the clip version so it could be easily mounted to the boat. Motivating or finding someone to hold a flag won’t always be an easy task. The instructions I got show the clip version. It took me some time to figure out that I wasn’t missing parts and that there was a separate handheld version.The mesh bag is nice to keep everything together and allow it to dry. The disposable scissors are a complete waste. I get the idea to make it easy for the customer, but it’s a waste. Who owns a boat, can pull skiers, and doesn’t have something to cut a zip tie?
