Product arrived quickly however the part that holds the flag open was missing. Guess we will figure it out on our own as we need to use soon.

All these dive flags on Amazon are complete crap. This one had the stitching come apart on the velcro pocket allowing the collapsible stiffener pole to poke through and fall out onto the deck of the boat. We needed a dive flag for our dive so I ended up improvising a spring wire stiffener with some zip ties(and negating any return/refund possibility).

This a great addition to my cabin cruiser when I am diving around shipwrecks. Raising this to the top of the masthead gives good visibility to passing boats and increases my safety.

What's there to say? It's a dive flag. The stripe and edges are actually sewn instead of glued so it's better than your local store cheap flag, and should last much longer as a result.

This flag is a reasonably priced Diver Down safety flag that meets the 20x24 Florida size requirement.Construction: It's made of double stitched separate white and red nylon instead of being a red print over white single piece. Dye seems to be nice and deep instead of a surface sublimation. The corner grommets are well set in vinyl reinforcements. A nice touch is the stiffening rod pocket and small fiberglass pole. As others have noticed, it can be a bit short. I got it to work but quick hit with a fine tooth saw could take off that extra quarter inch.The included hardware is a nice extra. It's not the world's finest aerospace stainless but it'll certainly hold the flag to a mast and not rust in 30 minutes.It's a good value and excellent to keep in your kit bag as a spare or for use on rental boats.

In addition to the 24” x 20” flag, there was a three-piece support pole, two 316 steel wire cables and two 304 steel flag pole clamps.This high visibility flag is robustly sewn. It is made of high quality Oxford fabric. It features two perfectly set grommets. The flag is fully compliant with the Florida statutory design. The KEMIMOTO Diver Flag is bright red (NOT orange as stated in online info) with a white diagonal stripe. There is a stiffener pole to make it stand out straight when there is no wind.Flags displayed on boats have specific meanings. In Florida, this flag must be flown if your boat is stopped and there are any swimmers in the water outside a posted swim area. It is required to be flown from the highest structure on the boat. The flag is also useful for scuba diving, snorkeling, and spearfishing.If the unique properties of this flag kit are called for, it is a good value for the money.Enjoy!Recommended for its high quality and durability.

I ordered this flag to use with an existing pole that I already have that I rig to my ocean kayak for snorkeling.The flag itself is made of thick material that I can only describe as some type of mix of thick Nylon, but also rugged like canvas. The material itself does not feel like it will shed water if it becomes wet, which is important since I will be using so close to the water.I do like that it includes a foldable pole that you can slide into the sewn pocket across the flag to hold it open on days where there is no wind/breeze to keep the flag up to alert boaters.The flag itself is quite large and I expect that it will be highly visible to other boaters so long as it is extended far enough up for them to be able to see it.Overall I am happy with this item and think it is priced fairly as it is right at the same range as others that I have seen on Amazon.I should note that this come with a single sided piece of paper with directions on use as well as several other accessory pieces that you can use to connect this to a pole. This does NOT include a pole, so be aware of that when ordering and know you will need to have some way to fly this flag yourself.

This Diver Down flag is quality constructed out of thick nylon with separate colors stitched together. This is not screen printed or sublimated. Seams are double-stitched for durability, and the grommets are inserted within reinforced corners. This thick material and quality construction are made for enduring salt water and sun. The flag has a single support rod that runs from corner to corner providing stability and visibility for the flag when flown horizontally from a pole. Mounting options are basic as the kit provides zip ties, small pipe clamps, and wire hoops with screw closures - any of which should work in a pinch - though an actual flag pole or boat rigging with carabiners would work best.This is a well-constructed, easy to see dive flag. This product is made in China.
