We bought this for our pontoon boat. We needed something that the trash would not blow out of as well as keep the dogs out of. This was the answer! The size is nice for our boat full of people and it’s easy to snap a 13gallon trash bag in. The zipped top lid has an opening on top that you can push trash through. I just love this product and highly recommend it.

This is Very large but easily fixes to hang anywhere on the boat, easy to use, collapses for storage and has a spring type Open fixture which keeps it from collapsing during use. Comes with a few garbage bags that snap in to keep in place or you can just use the bag without them and rinse. Convenient.

This works just perfect for our boat. The garbage is all collected in one spot and we don't have to worry about it blowing away when we are moving. Then it folds down to store under the seat when it isn't being used. Exactly what we were looking for!

This trashcan is not only functional, but it’s easy to store or transport. It folds up easily to store or hangs easily to use the bin wherever you like. It folds flat. I’m planning on using this at our family picnic in a few weeks.It also comes with a lid that zips to keep trash from blowing out and keeping smells to a minimum.It is built very sturdy and makes it easier to dispose of the trash without having to worry about having to buy special bags to fit this because it’s too big or small. This was packaged well and shipped quickly.Just so you know, this review is from an impartial opinion. This RV/boat trash can is really nice quality, and well constructed. The way the top is made does make it hard for trash to fly out when outdoors, which is nice.I don't love the way it secures itself flat. The little loop that fits a long button is SO hard to use. I also found that a 13 gallon trash bag is too small for how tall the trashcan is, so that's not great.It is still one of my favorite options I have found for outdoors, so I would overall recommend!

I wanted a trash can for my boat that would not flop around in the wind or lose trash. This is light weight but decent material, straps are easy to secure, trash does not fly out. Compacts into the size of a dinner plate for storage when not in use.

I now have 3 pop-up outdoor trash cans.We bought the first one about 2 years ago from a big box hardware store, same brand as many of my power tools. It is made from heavy fabric, plasticized on the inside so it is water-resistant. Drain holes in the bottom. No lid. Top and bottom each have two padded handles, just big enough for hands. Easy to crush it so it goes back to minimum size. Hold it in crushed position with snap locks. – That is the reason we bought this one: versions with snap locks are easier to wrangle than versions that use elastic bands. I have used this with a contractor-size trash bag. It rinses clean easily.The new narrow black can: This one has a narrow footprint (just 12” diameter), which will be useful in a camping cook tent. A 13-gal kitchen trash bag fits well. Use the 6 snaps to fasten the trash bag inside the can. These are heavy-duty snaps, each on a short web-fabric extension just inside the top rim.The nylon fabric is intrinsically water-resistant and should rinse clean easily. This lightweight, narrow can should be sturdy enough to hold any reasonable amount of trash you put in it.Vendor description says this is designed to use on a boat. It has some features that make it suitable for a boat or other windy location.The can’s lid does not detach, so it will not get lost. AND… the lid has a slit in it, so you can drop in trash and be reasonably sure contents will not blow out/away.The zip-open lid has two zipper pulls. Zip pulls are easy to use because each has a rubber/stretchy loop attached.The handle is an adjustable snap-lock web strip across the top edge, long enough to use as a shoulder strap. The bag also has a snap-lock strap at the bottom edge. This strap is smaller, and intended to attach the bag to something so it doesn’t blow around.The only thing that would improve this device is to hold it in crushed position with snap locks, instead of with a long button/knob you put through a loop. That is minor.This narrow bag will be great for some, awful for others. It will be a great addition to our camping supplies.Choose your pop-up can based on size and price. These have come way down in price since I bought my first.Rating: excellentMy scale: 5 star = excellent (or has a special feature), 4 star = good/ very good (does what it should). I rarely use the term ‘perfect.’
