Used for Lionel model trains, great replacement after adding diode and resistor. will work with out them but very bright and will fail sooner due to AC input

I've ordered many bulbs from amazon recently. Looking for the red colored 57 bulb (this is the size for the map light in my 95 Camry). All said they were 57. Nope. Generic description was misleading. This was actually the correct and bright red. Just what I was looking for. Seemed like good quality, considering it was made in China. Being made in China was the only negative aspect I found.

I bought these for a few specific reasons, the diffused 180 degree light seemed perfect for gauge backlight in my 1971 classic car. Much brighter and cooler than incandecant, perfect fit for 180 degree dual pin 9mm bulbs. the light is very even behind the gauges.

I bought these to replace some other brand I bought a couple years ago. They were very poorly designed. These are well constructed and don’t appear like they will fall apart. Quite bright also. Installed into dash gauges of my 359 Pete and seems like a good choice.

I bought these bulbs for my 1974 Challenger dash light and they turned out to be not as bright as I would hope. So , I'm gonna order the brighter ones. My bad.

I used these in the dash panel of my CJ7. They work great, but because they don't have the big glass bulb on the top they are hard to install in the old sockets. There just isn't enough to hold on to to turn once you press them down into the socket. I enjoy laying on the floor of a CJ as much as the next guy, but I started to think that they were the wrong part when I couldn't get them to turn. They're the right part just hard to install. Next time I'm inviting the grand kids over. Jim

I got these to replace some halogen bulbs with the bayonet mount. They look great, but the bulb end is smaller and it was impossible for me to get a grip on the bulb with my fingers to push them in and turn.
