They are very much like some others I have used and I found that I could mix them with the other brand. But these ones having a variety of widths to choose when attaching the horizontal bits (there is a choice of places to attach the bits that go across) made them more versatile. So it was easy to make them fit different pots and different plants.

I have struggled with metal cages for tomatoes and cucumber plants for a long time, and am very happy to have found these. I am using two for cucumber plants in ground, and one for tomatoes in a raised bed planter. All are working well, supporting the plants as they continue to grow and produce. I love having the ability to configure them to my needs. They assemble easily and quickly, and I do not foresee them breaking down in any way. Over-winter storage will be easy with disassembly to whatever point I have space for when the time comes.

Pour des raisons de santé, je cultive maintenant mes tomates en pots. Ces cages évitent les tuteurs et donc les blessures aux pieds de tomates. Vraiment très bien

With a later planting of veggies this year, we decided to stick our cucumbers and tomatoes into pots so they were in sight and mind. The tomatoes have been growing fast, and this tool has been perfect for promoting vertical growth and (hopefully in a couple of weeks) helping separate the plant for easier picking. The parts are made of sturdy green plastic, which seems to work well so far and look nice.I was surprised as all the parts came loose in one box, so be mindful of that and open it over a rug or somewhere visible so you do not accidentally lose something when you take everything out. Some rods with shallow cone tips are supposed to be used as the base to stick into the ground. I tried to use this, but as my dirt was pretty loose, this feature didn't really matter as the other poles can be stuck into the ground as well, and the coned ends can still be slotted into the brackets to extend height so you are not loosing out on pieces. One of the best and most cumbersome features is that you can customize the height and shape of the rods with the attachable brackets. The suggested shape is a triangle (triangular prism), but I also created a pentagon shape for my cucumbers based on the pot size. There are brackets with three slots to hold the rods together, and though it can take finagling to figure out the best spot and avoid the vertical connectors, it was a pretty straightforward process. As my tomatoes grow in height, I have even taken some of the bottom brackets used to separate the leaves and moved them upward to arrange the top leaves, which is a nice feature. The cucumber pot does not have much verticle growth, but similarly, I have used extra brackets to arrange the leaves so they are more accessible for picking along with support.I have little experience growing produce in cages—maybe some pre-done cages from the store—but not much. It seems more helpful to other cages because of the versatility of its structure, though it may take more time to set up as a lot of them are fully done. With this, I have really enjoyed this product, and I have ordered more for other parts of my garden!

This is such a clever support for growing tomatoes. 🍅 Being new to growing, these supports have been invaluable in helping the tomatoes grow. I like that you can use the structures as you like and they are very easy to assemble.

I use this system instead of tomato cages as this allows me the flexibility to make them very tall or any shape that I prefer. You can assemble them with just stakes and connectors to form a pole. This works great when the plants are younger. Eventually, they get bigger, and you can disassemble the pole to remove it, and make a larger cage. Eventually, I end up with a 5 stake base that ends up being about 6 feet tall. It's 5 stakes all the way up. I bought enough to do about 5 plants, and I am thinking about buying more! Are they perfect? No. They are bendy, but sturdy enough when assembled with stakes, connectors, brackets. They have fallen over in the wind several times, and I just pull it by the stake (I put bricks down to prevent that). Some of them are slight deformed, but none of it effects how they work ... very well.I bought 5 large size wire cages. And they are great except when the plant is younger. I tried using a step up process with smaller cages. The problem being, the plants grow fast and if you don't do it right away when it needs it, it's difficult to remove the cage without damaging the plant. Since this system can disassemble down to sticks, they can just pull right out. You can make a bigger one around the smaller one, and then just disassemble the smaller one on the inside.I have a system that uses Ram-Pro Loop Grip Clips to keep the stalks attached to a pole or bracket for support. I also use Gloryfox Tomato Plant hooks for support. They are springy and allow the branch to be away from the "cage". The system works great.

***UPDATE***As promised, I am attempting to update my review a 2nd time to show my rating improved to 4 stars. A replacement arrived extremely quickly with all parts included and in good condition. It did arrive with the seal broken once again, but since the contents within did not appear dirty or used this time I took them out and was able to account all pieces were there. The product is of good quality, easy to assemble, and currently in my garden. The company was also very attentive to my first review and willing to help in any way possible to better my experience. At this point I WOULD recommend this item.***ORIGINAL REVIEW***I was excited to see my tomato cages had arrived this morning, until I opened the Amazon box to find the K-Brands Tomato Cage box with the sticker seal already broken. It literally says on the seal not to use if the seal has been broken. I opened the flap to peek inside and the cages had dried dirt all over them. It had clearly been used by somebody, returned, then sent on to the next person. I did not even bother taking the cages out of the box. I requested a return and replacement. I did not pay $42 for a used item. They did not even bother trying to clean it and repackage. When my replacement arrives I will update this review to let you know if I'm sent more used cages.

Purchased these mid summer when my tomato plants were huge and WAY too big for the crappy wire cages I had them in. These were super easy to assemble, I was able to build them around the existing tomato cages (cause I couldn’t get them off) and made a HUGE difference in my garden. Before and after pictures for reference

I was originally looking for a specific product to provide support for my Monsterra Deliciosa houseplant. It was out of stock and not known if more coming in. I looked at other plant supports and thought this might be perfect, and even better original item. This one allows me to put it together bit by bit, one level at a time - perfect for my large plant. I currently have it at 2 posts high, and when the plant reaches a higher level, I’ll add the 3rd level of posts. The product comes with enough parts for 3 triangular plant supports. However, I found it worked better for my plant to create a square one.As it is, it appears to be staked firmly in the pot and very sturdy. Perfect for what it was intended to do!
