Does not have the Japanese word Karate , on the belt/Obi . Another martial name is on the belt.The belt is useless to me.

It's a very nice belt. I love the kanji meaning and it serves it's purpose helping my old belt last longer.

This obie is too thick to be of much use since it cannot be tied as the knot is just enormous. I suggest that if you buy one then expect to use it only for display. Don't bother trying to actually use it in the dojo.
