My kiddo loves music, and loves to sing along, even when she doesn’t know the lyrics.She received a different set for the holidays that has brought hours of entertainment.When I saw this was available with just one microphone, I grabbed it because we have a 3 person household, and now everyone can participate.This set is particularly fun because of the disco style lighting. The bottom of the microphone lights up just like you would expect some “disco” lighting at a party.The body of the microphone appears to be like a standard mic. There’s a button to turn off the light on the bottom, then standard volume buttons, a power button, and a voice effects button. These fun karaoke sets feature a monster voice that is deep and creepy sounding, a man’s voice, a child’s voice, which reminds me a bit of a chipmunk, and a woman’s voice, which sounds very much like the child’s voice. The speaker lights up in the same manner as the microphone, and it appears very much like a small speaker, as one might see while at a party or event. Both devices charge quickly using a USB A to USB C charging cord that comes with it.In the back, you will see the input for power, then an audio adapter, a micro SD card slot, and a standard USB A slot.We haven’t tested these out yet, but I can update review if/when we use them to play music through the speaker.The sound is high quality and the lights are supposed to move with the beat of the music. Have yet to test that, too.This was definitely a good choice, and a winner in my home.
