Luminous system
Light can be stored and emitted, so that the compass can guide the correct direction even in an environment with insufficient light.
Tip: Please illuminate the compass with strong light to store light before using it at night.
The movement of compass is detachable.

Not accurate 85% of the time. Used 5 times and it’s always off course. Too late to return and the instructions doesn’t give much guidance on how to recalibrate it so it can become accurate again. You’re better off buying a better quality compass if you plan to really use a compass. This one - expect it to become junk.

Definitely not the fastest or most stable compass, but does get the job done for a thumbing compass. Basically think generic cheep regular compass face put into a thumbing attachment. I have found other slightly faster and more stable low cost thumbing compasses, so it may be worth searching further, but I've raced this compass a fair few times and it is fine.

Never used a higher end compass, but I think this is all you need for orienteering.Feels high quality, seems durable, and the needle is fast enough for orienteering.

Easy to use and the hand remains free as it is attached to the thumb. The only downside I found that in cold weather the thumb get frozen as blood flow is slightly restricted by the band.

Fast shipping! The product works great thus far! I bought both the elite and the basic model because I wanted a trainer model for my son and did not want to worry too much if it got lost or damaged. There is a definite difference in how quickness the elite one settles. I recommend both depending on your needs!
