SAI PROFESSIONAL KOBUDO, solid STAINLESS STEEL (no. 304), octagonal, BLUE string grip, pair. Different sizes. Handmade in Europe with long turning (not cast). Stainless steel (inox) is valued for its anticorrosive properties and its high resistance to rust. The stainless steel Sais stays unaltered for many years. As there is no coating, we don't see any effect like chipping, flaking or peeling. The most common sizes are M (length 18.5" = 47 cm) and L (length 20.5" = 52 cm). Each Sai weighs between 22 and 27 oz (650 and 750 grams) approximately. Note: This article can NOT be returned! Therefore please make sure to choose the correct size!

Great quality, more affordable than Shureido and very close to the same thing. I’ve been in Okinawa Karate for over 25 Years, I have three sets and they are my favorite.

Everything about this sai is great, except I hoped that Yoku, prongs, were a bit wider at the middle point, around 2” vs. something like 1 7/8”. It makes certain moves easier, such as locking and rotating. Perhaps my hands are just too big.I have a less expensive sai from Taiwan and that sai have slightly wider Yoku, and for me much more comfortable.I still enjoy the Kamikaze sai, it’s a quality product and good for the vast majority of things I practice. The price is a bit high but that’s the story of our lives these days. Also, this model is a bit light. While it is balanced very well, I prefer heavier sai for practice and exercises. This is very subjective but I thought to mention. If you are looking for a heavier, thicker sai, perhaps look elsewhere.

The Sais appear to be one piece construction. The "blades" are octagonal while the guard and handles are round. The handle wrap is a blue cord that is very tightly wrapped. My set came unpolished and showing machining marks top to bottom. These marks do not affect the quality of the sais, only their aesthetics The nice thing, there is no chrome finish to chip off. Yes, a good buy.

I just opened these and immediately sat down to review them. They are absolutely beautiful! Amazing craftsmanship, well balanced, good weight (not too heavy but not light like the cheap ones) and I love the finish. They also feel great in your hand. If you’re thinking about getting these just do it, you won’t regret buying them.

Perfectly weighted stainless steel sai: these are the real deal, not the generic, run-of-the-mill, hollow chrome crap found in most dojos these days. Highly recommended and very much worth the extra money.
