The pot is very light weight but the worst part is that the basket is a disaster waiting to happen, it is so flimsy that the handles fall into the hot oil whilst cooking! Very unsafe

**I gave the product 5 stars so my review would immediately posted**Very first use and the pot caught on fire on the stove. Not much oil was used and the stove degrees was between medium and high heat. Poor quality material caused the oil to heat up way too fast, way too hot. Had a horrible kitchen fire. Lucky to be alive. Several thousand in damages to my home. Suffered burns to my legs. DO NOT BUY

Product larger than expected. But it works though the basket has a flimsy feel and terribly designed stands. But does the job ok.

Looked great. The metal inner stand doesn't not fit properly. Once we used it with oil one time, the bottom paint (or whatever you call the lining) started to peel off.....not worth buying.

The pot itself is good when you need a deeper pot, like casseroles or pasta, but the basket that came with it, is very dangerous. Being a head chef and restaurant owner, I normally use high quality items, but on the odd occasion I do fries, I needed something that only using a fry pan can make.. The basket that came was poorly made,the handles didn't even line up, so lifting it up out of very hot oil, was a nightmare, 9 out of 10 times the basket fell into the oil, not recommended. I was going to return it, but hey, the pot is cool. So I just ordered a multi purpose basket
