I needed a rack shelf to get my Apple TV and Firewall up off a switch to provide better airflow. This rack allowed me to mount the Apple TV and Firewall above the switch and get airflow up and under the devices. The shelf is adjustable and has several vent holes to allow air to pass through and around. The kit was easy to assemble and comes with all the hardware needed for assembly. The kit also included cage nuts if you have a rack that uses that type of hardware. Mine is 10-32 screws but I had several already so didn’t need to get anymore. The cage nuts appear to be M6 bolts so the thread wouldn’t work with a 10-32 or 12-24 setup. The power coating is nice and uniform and the threaded inserts for assembly were easy enough to start and bolt together unlike some others that has excessive Powdercoat finish this shelf was easy to put together.

Works well for a 2U shelf. It went together slightly differently than how I expected based on the product page, but it works fine and the ability to slide the shelf halves out to make a larger shelf is nice. The cage nuts and screws worked fine, and the screws to screw the shelf together went in straight and tightened down well despite being threaded into very thin metal. Overall, I am perfectly happy with the shelf.

This is a 2U shelf with venting cut into it. The fit and finish is good, with no issues with the powder coat or edges. It has the added feature of being "adjustable" which is a nice addition when compared to other 2U shelves out there. It appears sturdy, and I had no problem with the assembly and install. Exactly as described, and recommended.

Got this for my home server rack to hold some larger computers that aren't rack mount. There is some assembly required but easy enough to put together, and then sturdy when in the rack.

This heavy-duty metal shelf is just that, and it looks good in my rack. I was curious to see how this rack would work out since it wasn't shaped from a single piece of metal but instead requires minor assembly. Putting it together took a couple of minutes, and I was rewarded with a pretty stiff shelf. Recommended.

The shelf is an easy assembly; there are 8 screws that sit mostly recessed in an adjustable slot. The adjustability is for extending the depth for and aft to get a longer shelf. I'm using the shortest configuration as I'm only holding my security camera NVR. This shelf is going into a small 6U rack cabinet, which also came with it's own solid shelf; I like that this shelf is vented. The construction is sturdy and made of steel and gets all its support from the arms. The kit also includes necessary cage nuts and mounting bolts (if you don't keep your own inventory-I don't). The length of my shelf, in the shortest configuration, fits in my tiny rack cabinet. Overall, happy with this shelf.
