Brand new I cannot get this item to thread. Of course this only happened after I had already removed all of my guitar strings for access. The internal fastening piece must have a burr in the threadsBe careful that the internal fastening piece seems to be of different quality.

unfortunately, I did not check enough before drilling out my end pin larger to fit this end pin! it does not fit either my Martin Guitar, or my Leather strap! worthless.

Great little endpin! I had a guitar with only an endpin and no jack. I installed the output jack on the side and needed a solution to my empty spot. I don't like endpins much I prefer something stronger than a plastic pin just shoved in, held by friction. I bent the 'teeth' down a little bit as I wasn't sure the thickness of my guitar sides. I got a small magnet pickup tool and just guided the barbed nut up to the end pin hole and just screwed it on in and tightened with the Allen key provided. It feels super solid.

I didn't use the toothed nut that came with it I just used a nut and a lock washer and voila, worked great.
