I received mine a few days ago and one of the wing nut screws has damaged threads, so the wing nut won’t move either way. The factory worker apparently screwed the wing nut up onto the screw, encountered resistance, and forced it on so it was tightly jammed in there. Tried using pliers to move it in hopes that the wing nut would break through and correct the mangled threads but it didn’t work. So this makes 1 of the 4 places to connect a percussion instrument unusable. I really don’t want to have to return it, as the nearest UPS store is nowhere near me. I am really disappointed as this appears to be of passable quality otherwise. I tried sending a comment to Amazon about this but haven’t heard back in the several days since I sent it. So giving two stars is being generous in this situation.
