I took before and after pictures of rings I cleaned with this product. If I'm being honest I didn't notice a huge difference. I used it on a lab created citrine stone and then a fashion ring from Pandora. The first picture of both rings are the before. The rings look the same to me. It definitely does not shine sterling silver or silver that's gone black. It's supposed to make the stone appear shiny. I guess it kind of did? It's basically a pen and you rub the tip of it on the stone. You're instructed to rinse and dry the jewelry right after. It might actually work better on a real stones but I didn't try that. It might also work better on white stones like diamond, moissanite or cubic zirconia. The Pandora ring I tried the stones weren't big enough. I don't think it's totally worth it but it's only like $7 for one so if you're curious and want to try it then it wouldn't hurt.

This didn’t do too bad a job nor did it too great a job. For me the issue is the brush. It just isn’t strong enough to get into the deeper crevices of jewelry; it felt like I was just pushing it around instead of really scrubbing it. I had to twist the thing a lot to get anything to come out and then, when it did come out, a lot came all at once, dripping everywhere. I’d just as rather use warm water and toothbrush to clean my jewelry. This is something I really don’t need in my possession.

I’ve seen these pens advertised and I wanted to give it a try so I ordered the Shining Knight pen. It couldn’t have come at a better time because my wedding set was looking cloudy (I’m not diligent about cleaning it). I followed the instructions, which say to twist the end of the pen until there are bubbles (honestly I was expecting foam but you can see in the photo how they really look). I used the brush to get the solution down into all the nooks and crannies, then I rinsed and dried my rings. The results are better in real life than what my photo shows, although not quite as good as having my rings cleaned by a jeweler (that is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5). It is very convenient though, and small enough to keep in your purse or take along on a trip.I’m glad I ordered it!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this jewelry cleaning pen works! It’s designed like a pen, so you just remove the cap, twist the base a couple of times until you see bubbles in the brush, and then use the soft bristles to clean your jewelry. Since the cleaning solution is clear, you have to look closely to see when the bubbles appear, which let you know the cleaner is on the bristles. The brush is gentle enough for delicate pieces but still effective at removing dirt and grime. If you have debris stuck in grooves or around stones, you may need to scrub a little more. I had soap buildup on a ring, and it took a few extra passes to fully clean, but it got the job done.Just a heads-up, this cleaner contains sulfates and limonene, which can be rough on certain metals and delicate pieces. I wouldn’t recommend using it on freshwater pearls, mother of pearl, gold-plated brass, or other fashion jewelry, but for hard stones and solid metals, it works great.I also love the compact size, making it perfect for on-the-go cleaning. While nothing beats a professional cleaning, this is a great tool for everyday maintenance. Easy to use, portable, and works well, just be mindful of what you use it on!

It is definitely great for on-the-go as it is light and small for easy packing. As for whether it actually works or not, I think it does for the most part. I took a picture of my wife's ring before and after and it's not too obvious but you can see it is slightly brighter/less scuffs after using the cleaning pen. I did have a bit of trouble getting it started as I had to turn the pen a lot more times than I thought to get the cleaning agent out. It's also quite liquidy so if you overturn it, it does just drip out. So this pen isn't the best design, but is good enough, especially at the price it is listed at.

This jewelry cleaning pen makes it so easy to add a sparkle to your rings or pendants. I keep it in my purse so that if i need it I always have it at my fingertips. My diamond ring glistened in the light and looked brand new. I would recommend this product for the convenience as well as quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this jewelry cleaner works! It's compact and easy to use, making it great for quick touch-ups at home or on the go. I love that it doesn't require batteries or electricity—just a simple manual operation that helps restore shine to my jewelry. The brush is soft enough to be gentle on delicate pieces while still effective at removing dirt and grime. However, I noticed that it might take a little extra effort for deeply embedded debris, and some tougher stains required additional cleaning. While it's not a replacement for professional cleaning, it's a great tool for everyday maintenance.Overall, this is a handy and affordable jewelry cleaner that’s perfect for keeping my rings and other pieces looking fresh between deeper cleans. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy solution!

To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting this jewelry cleaner to be as effective as it ended up being! I applied the gel onto my favorite gold plated cubic zirconia ring (that I use as an everyday dummy for my engagement ring), let it sit for about 2 minutes and came back in with a microfiber cloth and definitely noticed an immediate difference in the shine of the metal and the luster of the gem. There is no harsh odor, although it does have a very slight alcohol smell. Otherwise, it seems to be very useful. I will be trying this on other pieces and will update this review if I notice any premature tarnishing in the future, but as of right now I am really happy with this product, and have no cons to note!
