This is a nice lead rope. It’s smaller round/not as thick than most but it’s decently long. The leather popper on the end is not as thick as my other brand ones. Not sure this would hold up with a Colt or unhandled horse as the tie wraps holding the ends together slide down with just my toddler playing with it. I wouldn’t say the durability of this lead rope is going to last with a horse that needs ground work started or training. I’m going to use it for our mini that is the bestest boy. I feel like the clasp with be the first to go on this.

I am a fan of western reins. I have a draft horse and these make me feel comfortable while riding and she neck reins perfectly to these. They're long enough and they're tough. If she so happens to pull away or act up on me, i don't have to worry about them popping. This is my second pair of roping reins and so far so good. The durability is way better than the pair that I have had for almost 2 years. I highly recommend these reins. They are great and very affordable.

This is a nice light, but weighted round rope line. The tail is heavy and moves well. The clip is decent, but not too big and heavy. I will be using this on colts in training and expect to really love it. Very happy with this purchase.

I was stuck between 3 and 4 stars. I ended up going with 4 stars because they are very affordable. For comfort, appearance, and quality it would be 3 stars. Overall they look and feel cheap… which they are. The rope is stiff, thin, and not comfortable like my yacht rope reins. The clips are larger and bulkier too. It looks homade to me and honestly I could have made them better. I am only using them to add to them for parade reins so they are okay and it’s not as big of a deal that they are shorter than my other reins. They are never going to be my favorite but they would work in a pinch. They are great for ocean riding.
