I never realized how quiet the furnace should really be… there’s some good videos online that you should watch before installing it but it’s not a very difficult job… it’s been running for a month now and sounds and performs great…

New inducer fan took approximately 1 hour to install, nothing difficult, no special tools needed. The fan I replaced was manufactured by AO Smith, the fan was very noisy, running slow and hot. This fan is aftermarket brand, but so far is working very well, quiet, running cool. I had to flip the large gaskets as my exhaust vented from the left, very easy to do. I also had to remove a 'hose plug' as well as install screw plastic extenders from old unit. Be sure to check your old unit to see which parts need to be transferred before you dispose of it.
