I'm really enjoying this floor futon. My back and shoulders couldn't handle sleeping in a traditional bed anymore. need the support of the floor. As long as you realize what you're buying and don't expect this to be super thick, this is a fantastic find.

It’s firm out of box. Wait 48 hours for full expansion though. It does come a little dirty I would clean it with disinfectant before use or wash the cover. I so appreciate this mat and I think it’s worth the price especially with the coupon.

I wouldn't use this by itself. It's not thick enough to have enough support. It's soft foam and I love that it has a zipper on the cover so you can remove it to wash, but it's not very comfortable to be used as a standalone.

This Japanese floor futon mattress is one of those things you would think would be uncomfortable, but it is exactly the opposite. The amount of cushioning and comfort I have got from this futon mattress definitely makes me rethink traditional raised beds, and even more so since this can be folded up to save room. The mattress is decently durable, and has held up to being dragged around

A little thin, probably better for someone with less weight. I use it on a platform in the back of my truck for quick camping trips when I don’t want to drag out a tent. The platform folds in to make a seat during the day and pulls out to a bed at night and the mattress folds up and back quickly and easily to serve both purposes.
