when i got them they already had rust on them and a giant made in china sticker on them on the phot it looked like gold colored metal but its just rust …. this just not what what i expected i guess you get what you pay for

I have owned several pairs of these spurs. Yes, slip-ons eventually fall off or get stepped on and removed. My riding boot just doesn't have enough overhang for strap spurs. These are ideal for my boot. My recommendation is to put them on your boot to size and then remove and gradually tight onto heel with a bench vice. At some point I always loose one or the horse steps on it and I don't realize it. I always keep an extra pair so I can mix/match them as needed. Nice smooth rawl, humane but do the job if needed to get attention.
