By keeping the surface temperature of the plate constant at 210 ~ 250 °C, the fat in the meat is suppressed from becoming smoke. Also, the fat of the meat does not fall on the flame, and by dropping it smoothly into the water dish, the generation of smoke is suppressed. 夫と二人でゆっくりとても美味しい焼き肉&焼き野菜が食べられました。焼き上がりがとっても良かったです。確かに煙は出ません。しかし焼き肉の匂いは部屋に広がりますね。後片付けはこびりつき等が無くてきれいに洗えました。高級和牛肉でもフライパンではイマイチでしたが焼肉屋さん級に美味しく食べられて これからはヤメニューが増えそうです。

This is great for a couple, for camping or grilling a steak with little cleanup.I grilled pork chops for lunch today.The grilling surface is cast aluminum, not flimsy sheet metal and has a stick-free coating.Being that grease runs into the water- filled moat below, bacon will be crisp, not soggy.

This grill is perfect! Easy to pack up for the day easy to clean! We use it all the time and it’s perfect for a fun road trip day to a beautiful spot to enjoy some delicious bbq! Love that we got this, can’t wait for the next spot we use it!

You should add a little water to the base. That helps prevent smoking when you enjoy the BBQ.

Enjoy using this for family yakiniku night. Low smoke and powerful unit. Not a huge grilling surface but it keeps up with four adults just fine. Underside of grill is bare metal and is a little hard to scrub. Cooking surface is non-stick. I’ve been using gas one butane bottles from Walmart for about $3 and get a few hours out of them. Great little product that simulates the Japanese bbq experience at home.

Ich liebe den japanischen BBQ Grill!Es ist sehr einfach zu bedienen und man kann ihn schnell reinigen. Habe den Grill schon zweimal benutzt und alles lief einwandfrei~Ich benutze standard Gaskartuschen (20cm lang).Man räuchert sich nicht die ganze Bude voll, dank dem Wasserbehälter unter der Grillplatte. Die Grillplatte ist nicht sonderlich groß aber für 2 Leute ist es ausreichend. 😊Außerdem ist der Grill sehr leicht. Versand erfolgte innerhalb von zwei Tagen.Der Preis ist etwas hoch, wenn man ihn mit dem auf Amazon.co.jp vergleicht aber ich habe daraus gelernt und werde solche Geräte nur noch über das japanische Amazon bestellen (der Yen ist im Moment sehr niedrig und da lohnt es sich). Kann natürlich verstehen wenn es hier teurer ist wegen den Import Kosten.Ich gebe trotzdem 5 Sterne, da das Produkt wirklich gut ist 🖤

The product is as per the description but my attempt to obtain suitable gas product to use in the device has been unsuccessful. There must be more information made available on the gas to run the product or at least get an English translation on the directions !

To set the expectation, there is no direct grilling.You can replicate 80% of what this thing do with just any regular portable gas stove and a non stick pan.What this provides in addition is1) its portable size,2) the drip channel and the oil catching pan (filled with water) underneath.This reduces the smoke somewhat if what you're cooking is high in fat.Since there's really no direct fire grilling on the meat, the cooking process is really similar to just what you would on non stick pan.And it's not suitable for thick cut of meat (unless you want a thoroughly cooked thick cut inside and out) because it cannot maintain a searing hot surface for thick cut, but sufficient for thin slices.We have been enjoying fresh seafood and various meat on it (all slices very thin).Eating directly off the cooking surface ensures that every piece is piping hot and thin slices mean no heavy marinating or seasoning is neededJust make sure you use fresh ingredients and you'll enjoy a lot!
