I order quite a bit of loose leaf tea, and am happy to say that this stuff compares quite favorably to many others I've tried. The flavor won't surprise you if you've had white tea before, but I personally find it quite pleasant without tasting too earthy or bitter. I was particularly impressed by the leaves themselves though. Often with prepackaged loose tea the leaves will come crushed into many small pieces and mixed in with stems and other undesirable parts of the plant. I haven't noticed anything of that sort with this tea; it's almost entirely large pieces of or whole leaves that are great for steeping and won't get small bits of grit in your tea.

I'm not always a fan of loose tea, but I really love the light fragrance and taste of white tea, so I thought I'd give this a try. It's naturally sweet and delicious. It comes in a great storage bag that seals really well. The tea is not crushed and it's very pretty to see the full leaves. I used a tea strainer that fits into the top of my tea cups which did a great job of properly steeping the leaves while still providing tea with nothing floating in it.

This white tea is excellent! It is very fragrant and flavorful. The flavor is delicate, floral, and unique. There is no bitterness. The tea was easy to make and comes in whole leaf form. The liquid is very light once brewed. I was able to steep in a second time and the tea maintained flavor. I look forward to having another cup!

Wonderful traditional tea. The leaves are quite large for people unfamiliar so use something that will strain or keep things out well. Taste is solid and what you would expect.

The pouch is quite large. Lots of tea leaves. The leaves are flat, almost looks like whole pieces of leaves, not crumbs of tea leaves and leaves look like they were dried and not roasted like other traditional Chinese teas cuz the leaves aren't rolled into a ball or curled together. Not saying these are bad qualities, just different. I noticed there are sticks in the pouch too. Like I said the tea looks like it was dried, with stems and all. Too many stems for my liking. I like putting the leaves in a tea bag into a thermos, as I travel alot and it is easier than in a teapot. Makes sense to use a teapot with all the stems though. I might try that next at home.Flavor is good, not as bold as teas like oolong. Lighter flavors, but pretty fragrant, in my opinion. I like lighter teas as I don't put cream or sugar in my tea so sometimes it's nice to have a lighter tea. I would recommend this tea to traditional tea drinkers that like lighter teeas!

This is my first time having white tea - I regularly take black, green and matcha (if that counts in the same league). I have to say that I strongly prefer this over any and all green teas I have had before. The flavor is complex and more satisfying than I thought. It is so good that I almost called it "strong" but it's not strong, it's not delicate either - it's like enjoying a gentle breeze on your cheeks vs biking into a headwind. Prepared correctly (don't use boiling water, try putting a bit of cold water in your cup, adding boiling water on top in a 1:5 ratio and then add the tea) it is not bitter at all. You can usually brew it 3 times while retaining good flavor on each brew. The bag looks big but is very lightweight, since the leaves are not rolled and take a lot of space. I wonder if they could package it more effectively. The cost seems reasonable but keep in mind, it's not a lot of tea. Going by their instructions, you'll get about 25 servings per packet, luckily each can be brewed 3 times with good flavor each time.

This tea isn't bad. I guess it's okay, but it isn't special. I will drink it from time to time for variety.A little bit smooth, but also bitter at the same time.

I starting drinking tea regularly only about two years ago, so I am by no means an expert. But when I want a second cup of tea in the morning, I usually reach for white tea. It's more delicate, and with less caffeine.Loose leaf tea is a little harder to deal with, but I've found that - especially for white tea - it's worth the extra effort. This tea has a delicate taste with all the right notes for a white tea. I have a couple of other lose leaf white teas, and this one might be my favorite. I don't know what words to use to describe the taste, but smooth and mellow are definitely apt descriptions. The leaves are just like they are shown in the picture, whole for the most part and without a lot of extra bits floating around in the bag. It brews up great at 170 degrees and I found that 2 grams for about a cup of water works just great. You can also steep the same tea leaves a couple of times. I've tried twice, and it worked great. The bag says you can do three, but I don't really ever want three cups of tea in a row.So if you're looking at least two cups for each two grams, you're looking at 50 to 75 cups of tea for your $25. That's not a bad deal at all for high quality white tea.
