I had high hopes for this needle felting kit, but it didn’t live up to expectations at all. The needles were too blunt to make the felting process smooth, and they bent easily, which was frustrating. The kit also included scissors that were poor quality and didn’t cut through wool properly, making my projects more difficult than they needed to be. The finger guards were awkward and didn’t fit well, making it hard to work with precision. Overall, the tools felt cheap, and the kit didn’t provide the quality or support I needed for both beginners and professionals. T

Does not include wool. It is an excellent kit. Needles are packed and labeled by gauge. This has always been problematic for me. The bag is just the right size: not too big but holds the mat. I do still prefer foam rather than this wool matte. It's lovely, but just my preference. I find with the needle holder I stab myself much less. I haven't tried the finger protectors yet, but they are an intriguing idea.

The kit works for what I need it for, but I think some of this stuff wasn't thought through all the way. The 3 needle holder is extremely difficult to screw and unscrew. The tote bag does fit the felting pad, but the friction makes it difficult to slide the pad in. And the pins are far too large in both length and diameter to be useful in organizing my felting pieces.But the felting pad is high quality!
