If you have thisToy, you have cats. If you have cats, you have cat hair on your floor no matter how clean you Keep your house. Those hair will quickly get caught in the little wheels of the mouse and they will stop turning. Need I say more. The remote control will still activate the mouse, but it means that without you that toy is useless.

I only gave in 2 stars instead of 1 because my grand kitty loved it for the few minutes it works. We let him play with it & when it started slowing down, we thought maybe it just needed charged. Charged it for 6 hours & then it would go but barely & but kept stopping. We have all hardwood floors with no ubstructuons. It's just not worth buying..

I bought this product for my cat and when I turned it on it didn’t do much for the cat. She wasn’t at all interested. The mouse doesn’t do much all it does is stop and drives extremely slow and just turns. I didn’t like how slow it was and it didn’t make any squeaking noise like I was hoping it would. If you make a toy mouse that moves please make it move faster and make a mouse noise.

cat is entertained; I put a furry piece over it from stuffed mouse. Movement is slow (a good thing, some interactive toys zoom too fast for cat play) and remote is useful. The only issue is that the mouse will travel on hardwood floors and rugs but will not be able to move from floor to rug.

My cat was scared of it because it was too loud running on the floor. It was also very jerky, because there were 2 buttons to control it…one for forward back, and one for right left. I’m not coordinated enough to keep it moving smoothly in one direction. Would have preferred a single rotating joystick. Good size for the mouse, though, and batteries on the controller came with it and were easy to install.

Only one I could find that works on a rug. Only problem is kitty knocks it upside down which requires me to get up off the couch to turn back over, otherwise the USB charging is great! I wish the controls also were USB chargeable but they take the small button batteries.
