High performance
Tektall Intake manifold adapter's bores are tapered in to adapt the wider TBI unit to the narrow Holley edelbrock pattern 4bl manifold. This is very important many adapters don't have this feature. This can cause poor performance that is blamed on the computer, injectors ect. when it is really the adapter.

Everything you need is in the package, as shown in the picture. Please use studs if possible, do not over-tighten, and the correct design is suitable for its intended application without vacuum leakage.

Had to heavily modify this adapter so that it can adapt throttlerry. Injection to a carbureted intake manifold. Even though it was supposedly designed for a throttle body injection unit to be bolted on to this adapter so that you can run a car braided and take manifold.

The 3 throttle body bolt holes had no threads in them. The bores were uneven and odd shaped. Would have worked for my application IF IT WAS ACTUALLY THREADED LIKE IT IS SHOWN TO BE IN THE PICTURES. Do not order this unless you want to modify it or the intake you are putting it on.

Bolts to engine fine, but holes for tbi were not threaded. Had to put helicoils in it.

Mounting holes for the throttle body are not tapped for threads. The 3 mounting holes don't line up to the throttle body. The 2 large ports aren't lined up correctly to the throttle body. Junk parts!!! This item doesn't go through a strict inspection process like it states In the description. Part is not as described and doesn't fit. Do not order this part!!! You will be very disappointed

The bolts used are 1/4-20, but the holes are all drilled 3/8" with no threading. Too thick for a nut, and is so oversized, it covers the vacuum ports, and aircleaner hits hood.

Adapter is not threaded in TBI bolt holes and they do not line up with the TBI bolt pattern. Adapter is not usable as received without additional machining. The adapter looks nice, should fit a square bore or a spread bore intake, and should work OK "IF" Tektall would finish the machine work so the TBI could be mounted. Would NOT recommend this adapter if you don't have access to a machine shop or know someone who does.
