This product is great!it is easy to install, just connect it to the current pipe.then it makes installing the tub so much easier, just align the pipes and slide them in.also thinking in the future is a tub change is required, no more cutting or adjusting just take out the tub to replace and change it for the new one.this even comes with a flexible plastic tube in case you need to change the tub's place in the future as long as it it placed in the limits of the tub's size.meaning you can rearrange the tub's place and not have to worry about the drain being perfectly aligned with the drop-in.this product gets and overall rating of A+

I have use these for bathroom renovations multiple times. Easy to install, the function of this product is perfect. On Amazon is the cheapest price without lacking quality. And when ready to drop the tub in with the tailpiece, the lubricant that is given just lets it slide right down with no problems.

I had purchased a different type of these, an elliptical shaped one, and ended up returning it because the mounting holes were only 1/4" from the body, so if you drilled a perfect hole to drop the fitting into it leaves you maybe a 1/16" to drill a screw hole, which is impossible in concrete, it'll fracture the concrete. So I purchased this one which they actually put some thought into: brass vs plastic flange and plenty of clearance between body and mounting holes. 5 stars+++

I was worried after installing the tailpiece (lacks instructions) that it might leak. No way to test before setting the tub in place. But no leaks after a filling and emptying tub.
