What a great face painting set. It comes with everything you need to get started. And, the paints work great. They are bright and bold. Holds nicely for hours without cracking or fading. And, when you want to wash it off it comes off easily without staining.

I’ve used other types of face-painting pigments before, and prefer these. They apply smoothly and with good opacity, yet clean so well with soap and water, unlike my other colors.This set actually provides 21 colors (not just 20), plus three sparkling, glittery metallics in gold, silver, and coppery bronze. There are sponges, different sizes of brushes, and a variety of stencils.This is a wonderful set with a fine and satisfying assortment of colors, enough to paint many dozens of faces. A great buy, and a lot of fun!

My husband and I have a Christian ministry and host an event where we offer face painting for kids. It's always a big hit, so we go through a lot of face paint. We have tried all kinds of brands at various price points and it seems like once we find one we like, it gets discontinued for whatever reason.This set is perfect for our situation because it has a wide variety of colors - and nothing is worse than when a kid asks for a certain thing and you don't have the right colors for it. Now, because these are water based, you will need a little more product to make sure that the color shows up; however, this is much easier to wash off than more professional type paints. While this does not come with a huge variety of brushes, it comes with just what we need, including the sponges. The interesting addition are the chalk combs for the hair. I have not seen that in any other face paint kits before.I appreciate that the stencils are more neutral and most can be used on both boys and girls. These tend to be more holiday and birthday themed. I also like the tattoo stickers. I recommend this product for any event where there are kids and even adults.

This is a really great face painting kit. It's a good value for all you get. Lots of colors, bright and vivid, non-toxic, washes off easily with soap and water.The brushes are pretty good quality. Three sizes so you can do any size paint job with ease. They wash easily in soap and water. I haven't noticed any shedding so far.The stencils are stickers so they are not reusable! You stick them on the skin, brush or sponge over it with paint, then peel it off and discard. Just wanted to make sure this was clear, because initially I thought they were plastic reusable stencil sheets. Not a biggie.The text in one of the photos in the listing says there's 5 sheets of temporary tattoos, that is incorrect, it comes with 2 sheets, shown in the photos.The gold and rose gold glitter is fine grain glitter, but the silver glitter is slightly larger grains. I haven't used the hair chalk combs yet but they seem to be in perfect condition, sealed individually in plastic. The sponges feel like the same sponges used to apply foundation, they are squishy and smooth. The black and white paints are larger, which is nice because those are probably the most used colors. There's also a little square of blue and red paint together, it's in a separate little container with a clear cover that you can take out of the tray (all the other paints are poured into the tray). Not sure what this is for, but it seems like it's the same type of paint as the rest.If I had to complain about anything, it's that the gold glitter container wasn't fully closed, so some gold glitter leaked out and spread around on the pallet and into a few of the paints that are next to the glitters. It's not a huge deal, I can easily clean off the glitter because it wasn't that much. I just think they should make sure they containers are sealed tightly before packaging.Minor issues aside, this is a delightful set, I'm more than happy with it!
